About the Opportunity
We are hiring an experienced Executive Assistant to provide core administrative support and serve as a force multiplier to the CEO. This is a dynamic position that requires the ability to anticipate needs and provide consistent, high-level professionalism and confidentiality. This position will report directly to the CEO, but will collaborate closely with the Chief of Staff. This role is remote, but preference will be given to candidates who are physically located in the Ann Arbor/Detroit Metro area, as occasional (once per month) in-person collaboration with the CEO is preferred.

You Will
- Partner with the CEO and provide direct administrative support, including inbox organization and drafting correspondence
- Handle lively executive calendar, proactively clearing overlaps, confirming attendance, drafting agendas, and offering solutions
- Own follow-up on action items, take notes, staying on top of action items, etc. (task management)
- Identify ways the CEO can use their time better, things you can take off their plate or start on their behalf - acting as a true thought partner
- Plan polished events for team-building activities and assist the Chief of Staff with the execution of the annual company-wide All-Hands event
- Arrange and book travel for CEO; anticipate meetings for scheduled travel
- Send DocuSign envelopes as required, ensuring timely execution
- Own relevant 1Password vaults
- Assist Chief of Staff with and provide back-up for Operations administration, including HR, legal, and procurement
- Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials
You Have
- Proven experience with complex coordination and operations in a faced-paced, start-up environment
- 1-3 years of experience supporting a CEO/Founder or executives with broad responsibilities
- Exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail
- The ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little to no supervision
- The attitude of a proactive self-starter
- Strong communications skills, written and verbal
- The ability to switch gears at a moment’s notice
- Willingness to operate under non-standard working hours, whether because of the CEO’s work schedule, travel, or other scheduling requirements
- High level of integrity and discretion
