About the role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Social Content Manager to join KAYAK's North America marketing team! This is an exciting opportunity to help transform KAYAK's social media presence and drive real business impact. You will supervise content creation at scale to drive audience engagement and cultivate a community of fans.

This position is instrumental in helping KAYAK find engaging, entertaining and clever ways to reach and resonate with travelers — making them smarter and making them laugh.

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of critical thinking and creativity, using channel and audience insights to drive impactful recommendations. Collaborating closely with our influencer and paid social teams, this role requires strong organizational mastery and a willingness to experiment and iterate quickly.

This role reports to the Director of Brand and is a hybrid position based in Connecticut or New York.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the implementation of social content strategy, to deliver against marketing and business objectives
  • Lead, mentor and encourage a team of two, responsible for handling and growing our social channels
  • Leverage insights via social listening and audience engagement to develop fresh, innovative ideas
  • Up level social content execution, setting a commitment for creative excellence
  • Implement new processes and ways of working to scale KAYAK’s organic social presence across key channels
  • Leverage KAYAK’s distinct tone of voice and adapt it appropriately across different channels
  • Keep the broader marketing team updated on relevant news, trends and emerging platforms
  • Partner closely with Paid Social and Influencer teams to align collective efforts with KAYAK’s brand strategy and vision
  • Lead monthly reporting and analytics to measure progress and optimize future content decisions
  • Collaborate with internal teams and agency partners to develop out of the box, social first campaigns

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for this United States located role is $85,000 - $115,000.

In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible for additional compensation and benefits including: annual cash bonus; health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO, paid sick leave, medical leave, bereavement leave, floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave and benefits.
