In this role, you will:

KAYAK is seeking a highly-motivated, Strategic Partnerships Account Manager whose role will build, develop and grow our strategic partnerships in the EMEA region. Supporting the team and promoting new affiliate solutions and opportunities across travel verticals including Flights, Hotels, and Car-Rentals

To be successful you will have a good understanding of the affiliate markets, and proof of Account Management experience. An excellent communicator, with analytical skills and the ability to work closely with KAYAK's Integrations and Business Development Teams. You are a self-starter and able to thrive in an agile, dynamic and data-driven environment.

This role will be based in the Barcelona office.

  • Provide support in maintaining and building successful business partnerships with KAYAK strategic partners and manage the aspects of partner interactions (both in a leading role and in a support role for other team members)
  • Monitor the success of each account and manage client relationships by advising on KAYAK products
  • Collaborate with internal teams across Business Development, Commercial Product, Marketing, Legal and Tech to successfully launch partnerships and ensure products are executed on-time and as agreed.
  • Set, track and report on strategic partner performance metrics
  • Establish an understanding of the business objectives of these partners and match these with the range of services offered to maximize business opportunities.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the business and its key functions across the region in order to deliver the highest impact around our partners
  • Support in identification and segmentation of business opportunities regarding strategic partners to increase the number of new partners

Please apply if you have:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in an Account Management Role. Travel industry experience is a plus.
  • Strong Technical Account Management experience
  • Solid understanding of online media industry
  • Strong data understanding and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with API integrations
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment
  • Good communication skills with technical, business and management stakeholders
  • Ability to take initiative and take ownership of your own projects
  • Experience and demonstrated success in encouraging and growing strategic business partnerships
  • Creative, persistent and outgoing personality, eager to learn;
  • Proactive, positive and self-motivated;
  • Quick and resourceful, team-player, flexible, accurate, strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
  • Language experience: Fluency in English mandatory, Other languages beneficial
  • Plus... must have a great sense of humour and enjoy working as part of a global dynamic team
