The Ads Team in KAYAK comprises four separate teams that are organised around skill sets, with each team having a different focus area, these teams are 1. Ad Sales – Selling to our partners direct and through media agencies, 2. Account Management – working in partnership with the ad sales team to make sure KAYAK is delivering against our partners KPIs 3. Key Accounts – Management of our largest advertising partnerships 4. Advertising Operations – Making sure our campaigns are set up accurately, on time and trouble shooting any technical issues. The teams combined are responsible for delivering KAYAKs advertising revenue goals and driving travel ad innovation. As advertising specialists, this team has in-depth knowledge across a breadth of topics and ensure that this knowledge is used in the best way to meet our clients’ need.
The Key Accounts Intern will support the Key Accounts team across some of the largest partners in the EMEA region. You will need to be a self-starter and able to thrive in an agile, fast-paced and data-driven environment.
In this role, you will:
Deliver a great service – Supporting the Key Accounts team to deliver a great level of service to some of the most strategically important accounts in EMEA. These accounts are strategically important to KAYAK both in EMEA and globally so you will be in almost daily contact with partners capturing key tasks and, under the direction of the Key Accounts team, supporting on these tasks to deepen the partner relationships.
Support projects – The Key Accounts team works across projects for the wider EMEA Ads team. You will work alongside members of the Key Accounts team to deliver success and efficient projects. This will include owning smaller projects.
Provide analytical support – you will work with the Key Accounts team demonstrating strong analytical skills to help support and drive optimisations for partners to achieve their business goals.
