KAYAK is looking for an energetic, German speaking customer-oriented individual to join our consumer team on a freelance basis. The successful candidate will provide consistent, high quality customer service to inquiries for KAYAK’s industry-leading travel website in German.
The expected weekly workload is 15 - 20 hours, potentially more depending on upcoming projects and availability within the team.
Respond and route consumer inquiries submitted via online feedback system. Respond via email and via social media channels. Utilize team standards and best practices to formulate appropriate responses.
Coordinating and upkeep of responses for multiple language inquiries across our brands
Remain informed of product offerings and evolution
Collaborate with internal team members to implement new or improved strategies and approaches
Native German speaker (required)
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
Minimum 2+ years customer services related experience
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Enjoys working with a variety of tasks, and capable of independently managing workflow, information and processes for different types of projects
Attention to detail, ability to multitask
Team player, collaborative and an advocate for our customers
Travel industry experience is a plus
