Reporting to the  IT Team Lead for APAC,  the IT Support Engineer in Sydney will be a member of the team responsible for configuring and troubleshooting end user computers and corporate IT services at KAYAK.com, a worldwide leader in Internet travel search. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to gain hands on experience in a dynamic Internet company. Responsibilities

  • IT onboarding of new hires (account creation, laptop configuration, in person onboarding).

  • Manage the helpdesk ticketing queue, resolving requests in a timely manner.

  • Provide software and hardware support to our employees both in office and remotely.

  • Deploy new software and hardware to our employees using tools like JAMF and InTune.

  • Configure and maintain Cisco meeting room Video Conferencing Systems.

  • Configure and maintain all office hardware like printers, company dashboards, room display tablets.

  • Provide technical support for all large scale meetings.
     

Required Skills

  • Strong troubleshooting skills with both Windows and macOS.

  • Strong multitasking and prioritization ability.

  • Experience with Google Products and Services.

  • Experience with Cloud based applications.

  • Experience with Windows Server Active Directory users and computers.

  • Knowledge of networking such as TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS.

  • Knowledge of Server Hardware, VoIP, and Virtualization.

  • Fluency in English.

 

Additional Desired Skills

  • Experience using Terminal and Powershell, and scripting languages.

  • Experience with MDMs, like JAMF and InTune
  • Experience with Identity Management platforms, like OKTA.

  • Experience providing remote support across different countries in APAC.

  • Knowledge of IT Security best practices.

Requirements

  • 1 - 4 years experience working in helpdesk in a Windows/Mac mixed environment.

  • Relevant College or University qualification in a related IT field.

  • Full Australian work rights.
