The Position

We are currently seeking a Commercial Manager in Mexico, responsible for driving digital advertising revenue for a variety of advertisers including airlines, hotels, cars, advertising agencies and diverse potential partners in the country. This person will be working closely with the regional commercial team and Mexico's Country Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively run the commercial pipeline and develop a strategy for long-term sustained success for Mexico

  • Prospect and Manage Kayak Mexico's sale of advertising placements to new and existing partners

  • Find opportunities for new business and upsells within current KAYAK clients in Mexico

  • Passionately reaching out to new business goals

  • Conduct calls and in-person meetings

  • Create proposals and presentations

  • Clearly, communicate the progress of campaigns to clients and internal partners

  • Lead all aspects of commercial campaigns from start to finish

  • Serve as the main point of contact and KAYAK go-to person for all advertising clients

  • Collaborate closely with the campaign managers team to build and maintain relationships with clients that include strategic consultation and support

  • Build business relationships with partners in flight, hotel, car rental, and others

  • Identify gaps & maximize existing relationships in terms of revenue generation

  • Synergy with other Country and Commercial Managers to identify and enhance synergies between markets

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience working in digital marketing and general advertising industry knowledge with exceptional analytical and logic-based problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to speak and write in English and Spanish fluently

  • Experience in pipeline management and sales funnel management.

  • Demonstrated diverse cultural understanding and comfortable working with diverse regional and global teams.

  • Excellent strategic thinking, detail-oriented, with strong communication and project management skills.

  • A track record of setting and exceeding challenging sales targets.

  • Willingness to Travel

 

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in technology sales, with established relationships and presence within the digital marketing space in Mexico.

  • Established network of contacts in the local market specifically for the sector.

  • Demonstrated success in leadership roles, driving sales strategy.
