As the Community Manager at Kava Labs you will be responsible for developing, posting and managing across all of our owned media channels for our EMEA regions. Your current crypto knowledge and strong background in publishing engaging social media content will contribute to and support the growth and success of our social media programs. This role must be located in the EMEA region specifically to be considered.

You will work alongside a team of world class crypto experts on an open-source project that transfers millions of dollars in assets daily, providing the financial primitives for the next evolution in crypto.

What You Will Do.

Manage company community channels.  You’ll collaborate with the Kava team on content calendar, engage with other brands, influencers, and users, and support leadership across multiple platforms. Run campaigns to cross-promote social/digital content with exciting concepts to attract new traders and partners.You will be our brand builder for the EMEA region.

Amplify company announcements and product launches.  Drive interest and execute the strategy for big news, content releases, and community engagement. Develop clever posts that encourage users to want to hear about the next big news!

Guide our users.  Respond to users about their questions on our platform, monitor comments and enforce community guidelines. Empathy and understanding is key when responding to our multicultural community. Connect with people across many countries and cultures in different languages.

Take the lead. In a rapidly-evolving space you should be action-oriented and motivated to stay on top of developing decentralized social media space. Research current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.

Who You Are.

Crypto-trader. You are an active trader and part of the global crypto community who knows from the inside what matters to them at every level. Your trading experience and historical knowledge such as technical analysis will be critical to our collective success.

Dynamic voice. Someone who can speak to the global crypto community and motivate users. Your unique communication skills will inspire users into action and are always sensitive to the diverse global community.

Project owner end-to-end. You have meticulous project management skills and can meet deadlines. In a fast-paced environment you should be detail-oriented, take ownership from day one and have a collaborative mindset.

How You Will Succeed.

  • 4+ years previous experience as a Community and/or Social Media Manager.
  • Prior marketing work experience in Crypto/DeFi space required.
  • Excellent English writing and communication skills.
  • Advanced fluency in other languages specific to the EMEA region.
  • A proven track record of building a strong presence via social media channels.
  • A self-starting and ambitious attitude with the ability to excel in ambiguous situations and thrives in a startup environment.
  • Bachelor in Marketing/Communications (preferred).
