We’re looking for a designer to join our growing brand and marketing design team. It’s an exciting time for our brand and marketing effort, so with the right talent and attitude, you can expect the role and opportunities to evolve rapidly.

Reporting to the Design Director of Brand and Marketing and working closely with the wider marketing team, this role is responsible for the design and production of assets to support Karbon’s marketing effort.

In this role, you'll collaborate on a wide range of exciting brand and marketing design tracks. Karbon is a thought leader in our space, producing a leading-edge online magazine, our own podcast, global webinars and advertising campaigns. There’s huge momentum in the business and our space, so the marketing design opportunities are endless.

About you

We are looking for a designer located and able to work in Sydney, NSW, Australia.

You're the right person for this role if you have:

  • Strong ability to work in Figma
  • Solid layout and visual design skills 
  • Very good organisation ability
  • Good communication and writing skills
  • A solid understanding of web and digital media 
  • Passion to take your part of a project and own it to the finish 
  • Maturity to discuss work critically 
  • Ability to work autonomously once briefed 
  • Attention to detail
  • A drive to learn, develop, and expand your skill set 
  • One to three years professional experience in marketing-related design 

 

Some of your main responsibilities will include:

  • Design and production of social post imagery
  • Design and production of display ads
  • Layout design for long form content such as ebooks
  • Help with web page design and prepping for handover to dev
  • Design support for internal company initiatives such as HR-related projects
  • Participation and collaboration with marketing team on group ideation
  • Additional ad hoc creative tasks as needed
