The role:

Key function of this role is to implement the commercial activation plans delivered by the Regional Delivery Team to optimize success within the E-Commerce Sales Channels of the local markets Germany, Switzerland and Austria B2B & B2C.

This role will support the local implementation of the commercial sections within the regional initiative toolboxes, alongside delivering specific local market and customer activity to drive top line and bottom-line growth.

Collaborating with senior management and cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce strategies aligned with overall business goals by creating individual customer Joint Business Plans across top-tier E-Commerce partners & the local B2B Webshop.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Darmstadt (hybrid working model).

What you will do:

  • Support and execute the commercial sections of the local initiative calendar for the E-Commerce Sales Channels B2B&C.
  • Support the local excellence in execution process by ensuring the listing (content, PDP´s, product descriptions) across all B2C clients in DE, AT and CH & creating adequate converting content.
  • Support the implementation of our e-commerce activation strategy in collaboration with the various internal/external stakeholders (Brand Managers, eKey Account Managers, external agencies) for all B2B tail-end customers. Drive enhancement of E-Comm fundamentals for Kao Salon Brands across all customer platforms to grow brand visibility, engagement and conversion – tailors activity plan by client
  • Support and execute the local management of KAO´s Salon Partner Shop by driving initiatives that ramp up traffic and visibility across DACH.
  • Support all operational tasks such as listing, content creation and creation of SPO´s.
  • Partner with the local sales team to identify and qualify potential white spots & growth opportunities in the E-Commerce Sales Channel by using adequate and efficient formats & KPI´s (roas, sell out uplift, conversion, new to brand).
  • Analysis of sales potential based on generated campaign insights (onsite/paid social, shopping cart analytics) and ensures a sustainable reporting structure to measure key success drivers. Produce recommendations to improve performance based on the conclusions drawn.
  • Support in collaboration with Regional Delivery CS&P team to give local commercial input, providing insights on market trends and sales force requirements. Point of contact within the local market to provide feedback and forecasts on forthcoming initiatives for the E-Commerce Sales Channels as per the Regional Delivery team’s guidance.
  • Collaborate and support the local sales team to develop, present and execute E-Comm Joint Business Plans with identified customers.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 1-2 years experience in E-Commerce across Luxury, Mass or Professional Beauty Environment
  • Proven results in successfully growing brands across B2B and B2C E-Commerce
  • Luxury, Professional Health and Beauty Experience an advantage
  • Strong digital mindset

  • Customer strategic alignment/execution – ability to make choices on key projects which will have the highest potential for business return, especially as it relates to NPD choices.
  • Communication – ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, clear priorities and progress tied to business results in common format across geographies
  • Strategic Thinking – ability to analyze, understand core areas of opportunity and develop holistic plans to execute change and bring about improved performance/results
  • Systems - comprehensive knowledge of business intelligence software and Excel are required.
  • Mastery – expertise in the operation and management of E-Commerce pure-play customers in the B2B and B2C environment
