Your main responsibilities:

  • Analysis of Integrated Talent Management needs and develop tools and methods, based on the essentials of the Kao Group (The Kao Way), to address these gaps, and demonstrate ROI for Kao.
  • Advising executives, managers, HCD (Human Capital Development) Business Partners on all aspects of Talent Management and Learning & Development.
  • Leading projects regarding new tools, technologies and processes or to improve existing methods focusing to deliver an added value for HCD and the business areas, including development of a blended learning curriculum (including in-person, virtual, hybrid, e-learning and gamification).
  • Manage Apprentices ensuring a continuous development of highly qualified junior staff members (Auszubildende und Duale Studenten), 10-16 direct reports.

This is a permanent, full-time role based in Darmstadt (hybrid working model).

What you will do:

  • Development  and implementation of integrated Talent Management solutions and related projects according to Kao’s essentials in cooperation with the Americas Region, that demonstrate ROI for Kao.
  • Define and roll out training and support for HCD BPs as well as for managers and employees with regard to all tools of the Integrated Talent management approach, that demonstrate ROI for Kao.
  • Develop and facilitate Change Management / Organisational Design plans in order to support HCD Business Partners and their respective client groups during the implementation.
  • Optimize and improve the usage of Kao corporate values, principles and targets on all management levels by using different training, coaching, presentation, face to face communication and consultation methods.
  • Develop and roll out EMEA Training activities, develop and rollout requested Workshops within EMEA region as part of a blended learning curriculum (including in-person, virtual, hybrid, e-learning and gamification) that meet business needs.
  • Managing, motivating, assessing and developing Apprentices     

What you will need:

  • Bachelor degree or comparable education/training
  • German Apprenticeship Management Qualification – Instructor Certificate (Ausbildung der Ausbilder, ADA-Schein, IHK) and a minimum of 2 years’ experience managing Apprentices.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing Apprentices
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in Human Resources at Business Partner Level and/or Learning & Development at senior trainer level
  • Certification in at least one high profile behavioral assessment tool (including but not limited to Gallup CliftonStrengths, MBTI, DiSC, Hogan, Insights, etc.)
  • Fluent in German & English is essential. Additionally, Dutch is desirable but not essential.
  • Power of persuasion and HCD Professional Skills are a precondition.
  • Managing people, participants and diverse teams on a high level.
  • High competence and flexibility in using different communication, presentation and facilitation tools and the ability managing and leading Projects.
  • Very good Communication skills. (managing feedback; good problem solving and negotiation skills),
  • Consulting need analysis per interview, observational skills and feedback capability.
  • Role model for others in practice, follows all values and principles of  "The Kao Way” .
