The Team

We are looking for a high motivated, statistically minded individual to work for our Risk team based in the Philadelphia Office.

The role is ideally suited to a candidate with experience within in Risk or Trading in a sports betting environment with responsibilities and salary tailored to the successful candidate’s level of competencies.

The Risk team play a vital role in optimizing revenue for our Partners. From an early stage in your career at Kambi, you will be given exposure to our highly sophisticated models and responsibility for making business critical decisions.

The position will require someone with an analytical mindset and the ability to effectively communicate findings into actionable insights.

 

As a Sports Trading Analyst your day-to-day will look like:

  • Analysing the betting behaviours of our partner’s client base, using advanced metrics and reporting tools to determine future expected value.
  • Making quantitative and qualitative risk management decisions to optimize revenues of our Partners across Online and Retail sports betting verticals.
  • Analysing partner financial performance, providing and communicating insights that drive actions to optimize revenues and improve future trading strategy.
  • Using procedural guidelines to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of high risk bet acceptance decisions.
  • Undertaking Project work to improve the efficacy of our tools, processes, and guidelines.

 

You’ll be a great fit for the role if you:

  • Are Data Driven: You have a strong mathematical background with data management, analytical and reporting skills and you thrive using data to drive decision making and achieving goals. University Degree in an analytical field (such as maths or statistics), as well as programming/data modelling experience, are desirable.
