Senior Marketing Manager

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to influence the growth of Kx Advisors by developing and executing strategic relationship marketing and business development efforts. 

As the Senior Marketing Manager for Kx Advisors, you’ll own both the creation and execution of all B2B marketing campaigns, with the ultimate goal of building the Kx brand and generating inbound business development opportunities. To succeed in this role, you’ll need expertise in content creation, exceptional writing skills, and be able to uncover insights and strategies to develop and implement effective marketing and branding strategies. You’ll need to bring a strategic approach to B2B marketing and draw on your understanding of Kx Advisors’ clients’ behaviors and needs to advise firm leadership on how – and where – to best communicate Kx Advisors’ unique value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine a strategic marketing plan focusing on 5 core client sectors for Kx Advisors with the intent of generating incoming project leads
  • Develop a strategy for intellectual capital, including determining topic areas, partnering with practice leaders and external vendors to create content, and distributing the final product
  • Develop and promote monthly thought pieces (white papers, blogs posts and other media)
  • Generate intellectual capital and build capabilities for new content delivery and client engagements (e.g. webinars, videos, podcasts, etc.)
  • Build and manage Kx’s company’s social media and online presence including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and additional relevant channels
  • Lead the development of Kx’s annual Business Plan, including a mid-year update on progress
  • Execute and maintain ongoing marketing activities, including business development outreach, email and social media campaigns with the support of the Marketing and Business Coordinator
  • Create and execute a marketing and BD calendar for Kx Advisors
  • Develop and manage performance metrics to evaluate marketing campaign effectiveness and support strategic resource planning
  • Track and report on Kx financials during monthly team meetings
  • Lead weekly Business Development meeting with Kx Revenue Generators (Principals, VPs and SVPs)
  • Provide oversight and direction to the Marketing and Business Coordinator 

Qualifications

Candidates for the Senior Marketing Manager role must possess:

  • 4-7 years of work experience supporting the marketing efforts of a professional services or healthcare-related firm
  • Four-year degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or a related field with an emphasis in writing
  • Experience producing a high volume of written content
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills, including writing, editing and proofreading
  • Familiarity with marketing database, CRM, and marketing automation tools
  • Excellent program, project and time management and execution skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and comfort interacting with corporate executives
