About the Opportunity
As Accounting Operations Analyst, you will be part of a growing team responsible for the financial processing of transactions for the organization. The ideal candidate needs to have a background in daily bookkeeping and record keeping, and with invoicing and billing. Knowledge of financial reporting and the preparation of tax records for financial audits is a plus. A desire to learn and an interest in crypto is assumed and welcome.
This position will report directly to our Director of Operations and partner closely with our Controller, with the opportunity to grow with the role and company.
How You'll Make An Impact
- Process transactions and perform accounting duties such as account maintenance, record entries and reconcile books of accounts
- Manage accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
- Handle accounts payable for separate entities, departments, and vendors
- Analyze workflow processes
- Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors
- Ensure bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
- Process due invoices for payments
- Compare purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
What Sets You Apart
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2-5 years relevant experience in accounting and accounts payable
- Experience with or knowledge of cryptocurrency is a plus
- Experience with spreadsheets and data entry
- Ability to navigate systems, download and interpret reports
- High comfort with communication and mathematical calculations
- Strong attention to detail
- US Based, east coast is ideal but not required

What We Offer
This role has an annual starting salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 + benefits listed below. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to your individual skills and experience.
