JW Player is looking for a creative, entrepreneurial, and customer-focused Product Marketing Manager with 5+ years experience to help drive our continued growth. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced, self-starting product marketers to contribute to developing and scaling a world-class product marketing function.
The ideal candidate will relish the opportunity to guide our go-to-market execution, including the development of customer-focused messaging and coordinating cross-functional project teams while serving as a product evangelist.
The Product Marketing Manager is vital to the success of JW Player and is passionate about product marketing, customers, and great product storytelling.
Ideal candidates will have demonstrated success in:
Pricing, packaging, and positioning throughout the lifecycle of a product
Working with sales enablement and content marketing to support the creation of customer-facing content
Leading and coordinating cross-functional launch teams
Developing product narratives that drive sales and adoption
Engaging customers and markets to validate messaging and product requirements
Partnering closely with product management to drive roadmap development
Serving as an evangelist for the customer by synthesizing market intelligence, customer insight data, and validation interviews
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in Product Marketing for a tech or digital media company
Demonstrated experience in product storytelling, positioning, value proposition and differentiation
Outstanding communication skills
Experience analyzing product, customer, market dynamics and opportunities
MBA and/or consulting background
Experience in the video space and/or with a martech company
