About the Job

We are looking for a talented engineer to join our team in Singapore. You will have an immediate impact on building products and facilitating integrations with our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Design and contribute to Services/APIs.
  • Work with relational and non-relational approaches to storing large amounts of data.
  • Understand partner’s technology and infrastructure in order to facilitate the integration process.
  • Able to set up a test harness, troubleshoot, resolve API or connectivity issues.
  • Educate partner on Juvo cloud-hosted technology, infrastructure and API integration.
  • Serve as Juvo’s technical software contact interfacing with client technical teams and Juvo’s product and engineering teams. Suggest changes to increase stability and performance of systems.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues (Infrastructure, networking, API or app): ability to debug and analyze integration issues.
  • Collaborate with Juvo Partner Services, Product, Engineering and Operations teams to create and refine materials that improve and accelerate the integration process.
  • Conduct local testing as needed.
  • Assist with technical requirements gathering and documentation for feature changes.

Qualifications

  • Familiar with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • 2+ years of experience with Rails, Django, or an equivalent backend framework.
  • Experience building an API that can support multiple applications and services, including experience with API versioning and documentation.
  • Comfortable with relational and non-relational approaches to storing large amounts of data.
  • Ability to run test harnesses/IDEs for mobile or API testing and isolate/reproduce/fix issues.
  • Ability to discuss technical subjects in a non-technical manner or deeply technical depending on audience at client.
  • Capable of establishing and growing strong relationships.
  • Previous experience working in/around Telcos and understands challenges with typical API-level integration.
  • Familiar with Jira and Confluence toolsets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Located in Singapore.
