OVERVIEW:

JUUL is experiencing a high rate of year over year growth primarily via global market expansion. To support this scale and evolving global business model, JUUL is quickly building out an advanced IT and Business capabilities (organization, process, and tools). To meet the never-ending demand Juul is looking for a trusted, seasoned Sr. Network Architect who has a vision for NextGen network infrastructure and security. 
Areas of focus include: Network security, Automation, Monitoring, Multi-cloud, scalability, global infrastructure management and Iot, just to name a few.

What you’ll do:
·      
Collaborate with executive management and department leaders to assess near- and long-term network capacity needs. 
·       Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.
·       Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery.
·       Partner with Cloud architect and other IT teams to develop and execute Network standards and adoption strategies.
·       Develop a playbook of design standards, patterns and reference implementations to support Juul’s multi-cloud, global SDWAN strategy.
·       Work closely with our Cloud Operations, Site Reliability and Systems Engineering teams helping them take on complex operational and architectural issues.
·       Work with tools, infrastructure and automation engineers in delivering development tools and automation to increase engineering velocity.
·       Perform technology evaluations and POCs to provide recommendations by synthesizing conclusions and comparison of various technology solutions.
·       Lead technical workshops, decision meetings, collaborative sessions, and deliver executive briefings related to a wide range of technical topic
·       Perform an overall technical network evaluation of current state, come up with a multi-cloud network strategy to support existing and future growth.
 
What you need to succeed
·     
  BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent with 10+ years of architecture experience with an emphasis on Networking and security solutions
·       3+ years’ experience in developing architectures, designing service provider networks at scale
·       Strong hand-on technical knowledge of network hardware, multiple OS, protocols, and Internet standards
·       Experience with AWS VPC, TGW, IPSec/VPN and other cloud terminology. 
·       Experience with DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, SIP, Wireless 802.3, 802.11, and 802.1x, RFC, and ISO standards
·       Experience with NAC and UTM solutions in a multi-vendor environment – e.g. Aruba ClearPass, Cisco ISE, F5, Palo Alto, SD-Security
·       Design, implementation, administration, and optimization of various enterprise network technologies
·       In-depth knowledge of the threat model, network security, cryptography, authentication, authorization and knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
·       Experience with implementing common security frameworks and controls in highly automated environments, especially in CI/CD environments.
·       Experience developing tools using Python or Bash, 100% Hands On, 90% Projects, 10% Maintenance.
·       Good understanding of Site Reliability Engineering & DevOps concepts
·       Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.
·       Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
·       Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.
