ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Retail Marketing Manager acts as key collaborator alongside cross-functional teams to develop and drive project plans: schedules, budgets, traffic deliverables through approvals and delivery of final assets. Organize the team and drive successful outcomes by aligning the efforts to the project plan.
This role has extensive cross-functional and vendor management responsibilities. This role should understand creative, social and brand strategy in order to successfully drive the project teams forward with vision. They know how to lead a room and collaborate to build relationships at every level.
Main liaison between cross- functional teams within the company
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify requirements, determine scope, deliverables, priorities and establish milestones
Develop project plans and schedules to track and clearly communicate status, progress, and financials
Build vendor relationships by maintaining strong communication and collaboration throughout the packaging lifecycle
DAM maintenance: production archives of final assets
Provide pipeline forecasts with estimations for design, production, translations, illustrations, copywriting, photography, prepress
Ensure adherence to best practices
PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
5-7 years of experience as project manager in a consumer-packaged goods industry or integrated agency
Familiarity with large and small format retail marketing
Familiarity with standard software project management methodologies, workflows and tools
Excellent ability to multi-task; exceptional planning and analytical skills; proven communication, organizational and written skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment – priorities change quickly
Proficient with MS Office Suites, G Suites
Understanding of user-centered design methods and techniques for both design and form factor
Portfolio of retail design that proves not only solid skills but forward thinking on retail projects
