  • The Regional Sales Manager (Reg Business Development Manager) plays a critical role as the main point of contact for customers at store level with responsible for the implementation and execution across all trade channels  
  • Specific responsibilities include: lead, manage and development of the internal & third-party sales teams, sell in/implementation of joint business plans, product listings, new customer acquisition and implementation of trade programmes, training schemes and brand ambassador programmes
  • Performance in this role will be measured primarily by the management and development of the sales team, achievement of distribution and range, volume and sales growth, category partnerships, efficient resourcing, ROI, share of mind/voice of the trade and in-store execution
  • This role is ideal for someone currently working as a Business Development Manager looking for their next challenge which involves leadership qualities
  • This role reports to the Sales & Operations Director Germany


  • To identify and win new business, develop joint business plans and effectively deploy resources to drive sales and ROI for the channels
  • To manage the effective deployment, resourcing and implementation of merchandising agreements, trade incentive schemes, training programmes and in-store brand ambassador programmes in the vape and c-store channel
  • Working in coordination with the National Key Account Manager, develop an effective push/pull strategy for the grocery and c-store channels
  • Leveraging consumer, shopper and store level data, develop an effective and efficient coverage strategy that drives ROI
  • Hiring, training and development of the internal & third-party sales teams including market visits and sales team meetings
  • Develop and maintain long term mutually beneficial relationships with all relevant contacts
  • Deliver agreed sales targets within budget
  • Review and implement trade terms and price increases which support the company strategy
  • Ensure customer payments on a timely basis
  • Update and maintain customer account plans and sales reporting



    • Commercially astute and able to drive business performance
    • Strong track record of achieving sales and profit targets
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills essential, ability to adapt to a range of audiences

Key Attributes Necessary for Success

    • Customer centric-ability to build strong business relationships with different customer profiles
    • Ability to problem-solving and think on your feet
    • Self-starter - Effective working independently and ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
    • A clean driving license is required for this role


    • Extensive experience in sales management including Field Force and Key Accounts
    • Experience in the vape channel a plus


    • BA/BS degree preferred but not required
    • Experience in the FMCG sector
