Who You Are

As the Director of Knowledge Management, you will lead Justworks Knowledge Management (KM) function across the organization, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure viable and value-adding services to the business. 

You will define and drive the strategy, processes, and content that has a direct impact on the business. You will be responsible for centralizing, organizing, and disseminating knowledge as well as drive content management best practices for Justworks. You are a champion for organization-wide data collection, knowledge sharing, and systemic learning so that pertinent information and experiences are shared with stakeholders.

You will also drive the development and promotion of knowledge management and sharing strategy through Justworks by strengthening links between knowledge sharing and information systems, improving integration among information systems in the organization, to facilitate seamless exchange of information across Divisions, Groups, programs, and systems, and provide knowledge management training and implementation.

Your Success Profile

What You Will Work On

  • Develop and promote a Knowledge Management program, administrative processes, and systems; strengthen links between knowledge sharing and information systems to improve integration among information systems in the organization; to facilitate seamless exchange of information across systems.
  • Provide support for the establishment and nurturing of knowledge management communities of practice, including workshops, one-on-one guidance, and troubleshooting.
  • Promote collaborative tools to facilitate sharing of ideas and work among internal teams. Develop processes and workflows to facilitate the capture and approval of Justworks knowledge throughout the lifecycle of information
  • Monitor and evaluate the knowledge management program, including benchmarking and evaluation programs/opportunities; Monitor trends in knowledge management and identify gaps
  • Disseminate information about the organization's knowledge sharing program throughout the company, including maintaining communications on knowledge sharing across the organization, participation in orientation and training sessions, and preparation of information
  • Ensure that Knowledge Management is firmly embedded in business processes
  • Other duties as needed based on department and/or organizational needs

Qualifications

  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience in knowledge management programs with increasing responsibility for people and processes
  • Proven practical experience of the principles of Knowledge Management 
  • Familiarity with developing and delivering knowledge sharing programs within growing and complex organizations
  • Experience with the use of technologies associated with Knowledge Management and able to explain the use of those technologies
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills which demonstrate the ability to effectively convey and explain information clearly, concisely, directly, and tactfully, including proven training and presentation skills
  • Ability to multitask, incorporating excellent analytical, organizational skills and flexibility, to prioritize work and deliver the maximum business value
  • Excellent collaboration and influencing skills with an ability to establish and maintain effective working and collaborative relationships with researchers, management, and colleagues
  • The ability to work strategically and tactically to meet unique business needs and requirements
  • Strong project management skills to deliver on time and to the requisite level of quality, while collaborating with key stakeholders as necessary
