About The Role 

As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Conversation AI, you'll play a pivotal role in our conversation AI infrastructure team, which focuses primarily on developing scalable infrastructure for our NLP applications and services, with a strong emphasis on Large Language Model (LLM) applications infrastructure.  

In this role, you'll have a unique opportunity to tackle novel NLP and infrastructure challenges. You'll collaborate closely with cutting-edge Large Language Models and curate extensive datasets of historical customer data for training, fine-tuning, and enhancing LLMs. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Design and develop solutions using Generative AI and LLM technologies. 
  • Build scalable and efficient infrastructure components like APIs and services to support Conversation AI and NLP applications. 
  • Develop and maintain necessary pipelines for CI/CD deployments. 
  • Debug and solve performance problems to ensure optimal functionality. 
  • Gather and analyze data for product improvements. 
  • Maintain production environments and applications (monitoring, performance optimizations, tracking, etc.). 

What We’re Looking For 

  • 2+ years of experience working on the architecture and design of large-scale distributed systems and ML Infrastructure. 
  • 3+ years of full-stack development, preferably in a startup engineering environment using various programming languages. 
  • Knowledge of text representation techniques, algorithms, and statistics. 
  • Proficiency in solving NLP problems in Python and C#. 
  • Proficient use of profilers, debuggers, and tools like Dynatrace. 
  • Development expertise in a virtual environment using Dockers, containers, and k8s. 
  • Strong proficiency in querying and manipulating large datasets for analytical purposes using SQL. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Good communication and relationship skills. 
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree—preferably a master’s—in computer science, Engineering, Statistics, or Information Systems. 

Nice to have: 

  • Working knowledge of Bayesian statistics and reinforcement learning algorithms.
