We’re looking for an exceptional Family Medicine Physician to serve as our Site Medical Director to join the team at our new location in Inglewood, which will be our first in Los Angeles County. You’ll be a critical part of the clinical leadership team and practice alongside a talented group of clinicians to build out our services in this new market. Your regular schedule will be a combination of clinical time (80%) and dedicated time for your leadership and operational responsibilities (20%).
As a Site Medical Director, you will:
- Lead day-to-day primary care operations, train and develop early-career primary care physicians, and work closely with advanced practice clinicians
- Provide exceptional care for our patients, members, and the community, including wellness services, physical examinations, diagnosis and treatment, and counseling patients of all ages on their general health and well being
- Order and interpret x-rays, lab results, EKGs and other diagnostic tests
- Collaborate with the Clinical Operations and Engineering teams to inform the development of innovative tools and services for communication, decision support, and documentation
- Drive ongoing iteration of our clinical model based on problem-solving and knowledge gained from workshops, conferences, and literature review
- Partner with specialist care physicians and promote collaboration by ensuring patient care plan awareness across key team members
- Serve as a representative of Juno in the broader community to increase our presence and impact
About You:
- At least three years of experience in a primary care setting
- At least one year of leadership experience - either people management and clinical supervision and/or clinical operations and administration
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, or Med-Peds
- Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of California
- Active, unrestricted DEA license and current CPR certifications
- High-degree of comfort using tools such as iPads for charting and HIPAA secure messaging apps for care coordination
- Strong belief that *everyone* deserves great care and passionate about disrupting care delivery
- Eager to be part of an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, operations, and technology experts and work in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Complementary graduate degree is a plus, but not required — Masters of Public Health, Masters of Business Administration, Masters of Public Policy
