CANDIDATE PERSONAL DATA DISCLOSURE
As part of the recruitment process, Jump may collect and process personal data relating to job applicants. The personal data you provide when applying for a position will be processed by Jump Operations, LLC and any of its affiliated or related companies (collectively, “Jump”) for recruiting and employment purposes, as described below.
Jump may collect, store, or use the following categories of personal data: full name, email and physical address, phone number, compensation expectations, bank details, passport number, educational or employment history, and any contents of a resume or CV.
Jump may collect personal data about candidates through an application or recruitment process, directly from you, as the candidate, or from a third-party employment agency, background check provider, online profile (e.g., LinkedIn), former employer, or public resource.
Jump will only use your personal data in accordance with applicable laws. Generally, Jump’s Human Resources and Recruiting Departments may use your personal data for any of the following purposes:
- assessing qualifications for employment;
- examining technical qualifications for a particular role;
- confirming identity;
- verifying eligibility to work in a certain jurisdiction;
- preparing an employment offer;
- storing data in Jump’s recruitment database;
- monitoring equal employment opportunities;
- protecting a candidate’s rights and interests;
- protecting Jump’s legitimate interests, where a candidate’s interests and fundamental rights do not override;
- complying with regulatory or legal obligations; or
- any purpose compatible with the above.
If Jump needs to use your personal data for an unrelated purpose, Jump will, as required by applicable law, notify you and explain the related legal basis for the use. Jump will retain your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfill the above purposes.
Jump maintains the security, integrity, and protection of all personal data with appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect against unauthorized access or breach. Jump will, as required by applicable law, notify you in the case of a data breach involving any loss, misuse, or alteration of your personal data without undue delay. Jump may share your personal data with a third-party in consideration for employment and requires all third-parties to take appropriate security measures to protect your personal data in accordance with Jump’s policies. Personal data may also be shared or transferred across jurisdictions including, but not limited to, the United States, United Kingdom, European Union, and Singapore. Jump has agreements in place ensuring that adequate data protection security measures are followed.
You may have rights relating to the request of access, correction, modification, transfer, erasure, or use for a particular purpose of your personal data held by Jump. In the circumstances in which you may have provided consent to the collection, use, or transfer of your personal data, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
By sending your personal data to Jump for recruiting and employment purposes, you allow the processing of your personal data and affirm that all personal data submitted is accurate and that you have the right to provide such data.
