We are currently looking for an in house store designer to join our team, collaborating with our Director of Construction and Store Design, as we continue to grow to 100+ stores.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree from an accredited architecture / interior design program. (AIA / NCIDQ)
  • 1-2 years minimum experience at AIA firm or NCIDQ Interior design firm (will consider newly grads with a strong portfolios and good comprehensive construction detail drawings.)
  • Store space planning skills - Must have solid conceptual and design process skill and good problem - solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Autocad, Sketchup, Photoshop and freehand Isometric drawings.
  • Experience in managing a project from Schematic Design to Construction Administration phases.
  • Ability to be able to do site surveys and create accurate base (white box drawings)
  • Strong attention to detail - to check shop drawings, read spec sheets and confirm that all necessary equipment will fit in the layout / millwork fixtures with the correct electrical and plumbing requirments
  • Ability to coordinate orders and delivery schedules with vendors and contractors (AV, kitchen equipment, stainless steel, etc).
  • Lead / communicate with contractors and supervise on site.
  • Self motivated and ability to complete tasks with accuracy in a timely manner.
  • Knowledge on how to check Building, Plumbing, Electrical and Health codes.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship
  • Familiar with ADA and building practices as applied to interior architecture
  • Excellent English language communication skills
Job Description
  • Create site survey drawings for the SD set.
  • Assist team in Creating well thought out Schematic Design sets and coordinate with architects to create a CD set.
  • Create freehand Stainless Steel Millwork Fixture drawings - Will train.
  • Coordinate with multiple venders, architects, landlords and partners.
  • Oversee Construction site during Construction Administration phase.
  • Coordinate with VM team and give them dimensions for Graphics.
  • Follow up with architects to close out projects and permits.
