Job Summary and Mission

This job contributes to the success of Juice Press by leading Team Members to create and maintain the mission of Juice Press for our customers and Team Members. The Store Manager position requires the management of the overall operation of their store. In particular, a majority of time is spent supervising and directing the workforce, making staffing decisions (i.e. training, evaluating, disciplining, discharging, staffing and scheduling), ensuring customer satisfaction and product quality, managing the stores financial performance, and managing safety and security within their store. The incumbent is responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with all policies of Juice Press.


Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:


  • Setting goals for the team, customer service and sales performance:
    • Acts in a responsible manner that promote the culture, values and mission of Juice Press.
      • Sets the example for the team while maintaining consistent attendance and punctuality.
    • Ability to model professionalism in handling of all store functions and events.
    • Drives the implementation of company initiatives by developing action plans and directly motivating and instructing the store team to meet goals.
      • Directs team to ensure speed of service to exceed customer expectations
    • Acts in a responsible manner that promote the culture, values and mission of Juice Press.
    • Delegates responsibilities and practices to team members to ensure smooth flow of operations.
    • Provides coaching and direction to the team to take action and to achieve goals.
    • Communicates clearly, concisely and accurately in order to ensure effective store operations.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative responsibilities includes:
    • Ensures adherence to applicable wage and hour laws for non-exempt team members and minors.
    • Follows all operational policies to plan for and achieve operational excellence in the store including:
      • Uphold Standards for Scheduling, Cash Handling and Safety and Security.
      • Upholds the integrity of Inventory Management and all inventory systems.
      • Monitoring Staffing Needs, Cleanliness and Merchandising Standards.
      • Organizes and executes opening and closing duties.


Team Member Development

  • Providing team members with coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities:
    • Providing team members with clear, specific, timely and respectful coaching and feedback while setting clear expectations for performance and urgency around the customer.
    • Providing Team Members access to developmental training programs.
    • Develops and cultivates positive relationships with the team and peers to achieve goals.
    • Maintains a successful team environment by recognizes and reinforcing individual and team accomplishments resulting in valued and respected team members.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities       

  • Retail experience of 1 year as a Store Manager or equivalent role.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to manage store operations independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage resources to ensure that established service levels are achieved at all times.
  • Strong organizational planning, problem-solving and operational skills in a team-based, customer-service environment.
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to coach and mentor others handling confidential information.
