We are looking for ambitious Intermediate Designers to join our award-winning ICRAVE Design Team at one of our dynamic studios in New York City or Miami!

About the Studio: 

Our physical studio was formed through the acquisition of ICRAVE (www.icrave.com) in December 2021, an industry thought leader in strategy, interior, and experience design. ICRAVE has collaborated with both Fortune 500 brands and up-and-coming companies across a variety of sectors including health care, airport & transportation, restaurants and hospitality, sporting stadiums, entertainment ventures, and commercial real estate across the world. The business was founded by Lionel Ohayon in 2002, a visionary in architectural and experience design, who is both a Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Journey.

About the Position: 

As an Intermediate Designer, you use your creativity, impeccable taste, rigor, and passion to design projects from conceptual development. You will partner with clients to conceptualize, design, manage and execute functional, and fabulous architectural interior design plans. Every day, you will apply your hospitality design experience to bring new ideas to life by collaborating with your team in creating and developing projects through all design phases.  

Some of the day-to-day responsibilities include: 

  • Participating in client meetings and craft elaborate client presentations in InDesign 
  • Creating, producing and managing detailed design drawings using Revit or AutoCad 
  • Communication and cross collaboration to drive conceptual thinking on your projects 
  • Producing 3D models, sketches and boards to support your ideas
  • Selecting, specifying and designing FF&E as well as architectural finishes 

About You: 

To thrive in this role, you’re an organized, multitasker who takes initiative and pride in their work. You will collaborate with others by infusing your creative vision to help deliver exceptional client work. You have relevant experience working with US-based clients on architectural and/or interior/theatrical design projects, with the ability to express innovation and rigor around ideas both visually and verbally.

Regarding technical skills, you are: 

  • Fluent in AutoCad 2020, AGI132 and Revit 
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite 
  • Possess the ability to model in 3D Max, Rhino, Sketchup or Revit 

In the spirit of flexibility, please be aware that this position involves a hybrid work arrangement, incorporating both remote and in-person commitments at one of our studio locations in NYC or Miami.
