Vice President, Strategic Partnerships

About the Role
The Strategic Partnerships position will be a key member of the Jordan Park Client Experience Team, responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships that align with the firm's goal of delivering exceptional value to ultra-high-net-worth families. This role requires a deep understanding of the family office landscape, a keen ability to identify potential partnerships, and exceptional relationship-building skills. Responsibilities will include:
- Identify and Evaluate Potential Partnerships: Conduct thorough research to identify strategic partners that align with the firm's family office value proposition. Assess partnership opportunities to determine their potential impact on client acquisition, retention, and overall client experience
- Develop and Execute Partnership Strategies: Develop and implement strategic partnership plans that drive business growth, enrich client experience, and enhance the firm's reputation within the family office community
- Negotiate and Structure Partnerships: Develop and execute partnership agreements that outline mutual benefits, responsibilities, and performance metrics. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Build and Maintain Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers at partner organizations within the family office space. Serve as the primary point of contact for partnership-related matters
- Drive Business Development: Collaborate with the Client Advisory teams to develop new content, including joint marketing campaigns when appropriate. Track and analyze partnership performance to measure ROI and identify opportunities for improvement
- Stay Informed: Maintain a deep understanding of the family office industry, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to identify new partnership opportunities
- Manage Partnership Portfolio: Oversee the ongoing management of existing partnerships, ensuring that they continue to deliver value to the firm and its clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a specific experience in the family office segment
- Proven track record of successfully developing and managing strategic partnerships within the financial services industry
- Deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges facing UHNW family and independent family offices
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data and measure partnership performance
- Strong project management and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MBA, CFA, CFP)
- Experience with Salesforce, Addepar and marketing automation platforms
- Existing relationships within the family office community
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation at Jordan Park includes a base salary, discretionary year-end bonus, benefits and other perks. We apply a total reward philosophy when determining compensation terms.
The expected base salary for this role in San Francisco, California will range from $150,000 – $250,000 per year commensurate with experience, job-related skills, relevant education, licenses and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
