The Role
We have developed from a startup into a profitable global growth company, disrupting how people search for jobs. To ensure our financial organisation keeps up with our growth we are looking for a dynamic Manager Finance & Controlling to professionalize our financial operations and spearhead our financial strategies. For this exciting role we are looking for an experienced finance manager keen to apply his knowledge to upgrade the finance processes of an international growth company.
Your Course - and what we expect from you
- Assess the current financial processes and initiate and execute optimizations particularly for budget planning, controlling and reporting
- Coordinate and support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements by our tax consultant and the audit of the annual financial statements by the auditor
- Oversee VAT compliance at home and abroad. To do this, you will work closely with our tax-as-a-service provider and dev teams.
- Conception and implementation of investor relations strategies
- Be the primary contact for banks, auditors and tax consultants
Your Equipment
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in the digital space
- A proven track record in controlling, steering of financial forecasting and planning (FP&A) as well as budgeting processes
- Experience in developing, monitoring and analyzing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and management reportings
- Very good knowledge of financial statements in accordance with HGB
- Very strong analytical skills and excellent application knowledge in Excel
- An interest in legal topics
- Independent, precise and analytical way of working
- An intrinsic desire to improve the status quo
- Very good communication skills in German and English
- A positive and friendly attitude 😊
And by the way: You don't have to live in the Hamburg area. Our teams work fully remote and so will you. But of course you are always welcome to visit us in the beautiful city of Hamburg.
