This position is fully Remote
The Account Manager will be responsible for servicing a growing book of casualty business within the Jencap Environmental Practice. This role supports the efforts to build relationships with clients and maintain a high level of responsiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare renewals:
- Request renewal information within prescribed time frame prior to expiration date.
- Request loss runs within prescribed time frame.
- Drop all documents into AMS.
- Prepare quotations, binders, policies, endorsements and invoices for the Retailer as per Producer’s instructions and the firm’s standardized protocols.
- Request additional information from broker/retailer necessary for the proper processing of submissions, quotes, and policies.
- Review company issued policies for accuracy and affix appropriate surplus lines stamps.
- Review and process mid-term endorsements, reporting forms and cancellations: initiate necessary corrections ensuring accuracy of information.
- Maintain diary and follow up process for policies, endorsements, correspondence, claims, etc. from outside sources for timely receipt as needed to ensure receipt of required information.
- Manage surplus lines tax filing process with Jencap surplus lines correspondent.
- Timely and effective communication to escalate internal and external processing issues/problems.
- Special projects as needed and agreed to by Producer and Direct Manager.
Requirements:
- 4 Plus years of experience supporting Casualty Brokerage Practice and/or Retail Agency experience.
- Professional negotiation, interpersonal, written, & verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize & multi-task with a sense of urgency
- Demonstrate proper judgement & decision-making skills
- Capable of marketing, quoting, & binding of all Commercial Lines risks
- Strong Organizational & Time Management Skill
