The Shop Foreman is responsible for ensuring the proper repair and servicing of all vehicles taken in by the service department as well as maintaining productivity at levels determined by service management. This is accomplished by providing the technicians direct on-the-job assistance with coordinating and conducting training, inspecting jobs for proper completion and, creating an environment for high productivity through motivational leadership as well as effective administration.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s license
- Trade school certificate or equivalent
- Employment is contingent based upon passing background check & drug screen
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- At least 7 years automotive technical experience
- Experience with Toyota mandatory
- At least 2 years in a leadership role/previous foreman
- Proficient knowledge of dealerships’ computer systems/programs
Physical demands:
Standing, walking, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally will need to lift and or move up to 50 pounds.
