About the Position

We’re looking to hire an experienced macOS and Mobile Device Management (MDM) Engineer to help us maintain, improve, automate, and standardize our growing fleet of thousands of corporately owned and BYOD-managed macOS and mobile devices, along with their supporting infrastructure. Much of this work will involve creating and maintaining scripts and interacting with various parts of our MDM systems and devices.

It will also involve working closely with our internal groups and external vendors to find solutions to problems. We are looking for a clear communicator who can collaborate with colleagues worldwide to find and resolve issues, plan and execute deployments, and improve systems where possible. Getting the details right and keeping good records are critical in this role. Good troubleshooting skills are essential, including root cause analysis, and you’ll be expected to clearly document all problem resolution. 

Our IT Engineering group is a highly dedicated team of engineers who monitor and manage our Windows, macOS, and mobile device environments across a physical/virtual computing landscape that spans three continents. Your analytical thinking and expertise will be invaluable as we support the daily work of our colleagues and keep our systems operating at the highest standard.

About You

  • 4+ years of experience managing, monitoring, and deploying macOS and iOS devices in an enterprise environment (in an engineering role)
  • Experienced with developing PowerShell or bash/zsh automation scripts and tooling
  • Have extensive experience with managing mobile and macOS devices using an MDM platform such as Intune, Workspace One, or Jamf Pro
  • Understand software distribution and patching technologies for macOS and iOS/iPadOS
  • Know macOS and iOS security features and best practices
  • Have managed the life cycles of Apple Devices using Apple Business Manager
  • Have integrated various systems to fulfill business needs
  • Can troubleshoot macOS/iOS operating systems, applications, peripherals, network, and audio-visual problems
  • Experienced with hardware monitoring and performance tuning
  • Clear and concise communicator; able to maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries
  • A flexible and reliable team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment
  • Fluency in English is required
