As a Technical Recruiter at Iversoft, you are an integral part of the team that is dedicated to hiring and retaining top talent across Canada. Leveraging leading recruitment technology, the Technical Recruiter is responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening and scheduling interviews. You will identify, reach out and attract top talent; prepare candidates for interviews, negotiate salary and present verbal offers to candidates. The technical recruiter will work closely with Hiring Managers and the People and Culture team to deliver an outstanding hiring experience. 


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle from intake to the offer stage.

  • Source, attract, and screen candidates. 

  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers. 

  • Collaborate and brainstorm with hiring managers & org leaders to develop Job Descriptions and any additional documentation related to recruitment and hiring.

  • Liaise with Vendors and Partnering Organizations to promote Iversoft’s Talent Brand and improve recruiting efficiencies.

  • Engage the current employee roster with recruitment related activities through Slack and other resources to foster a culture of recruiting more great people. 

  • Engage the current employees with internal activities and events that have been coordinated by the People and Culture team.

  • Strive to provide a top-notch candidate experience/journey through the use of Greenhouse ATS. 

  • Collaborate with the People and Culture team to Brainstorm and build long-term strategies for attracting, hiring and retaining top talent - that enables Iversoft to promote itself as a leading employer in its’ competitive space.

  • Report on pipeline progress, challenges and pending offers. 

  • Promote Iversoft’s employment brand in a way that is professional and consistent with Organizational values.

  • Present candidates with verbal offers. 

  • Support the people and culture team with creating internal documentation that support the recruitment process, policies and procedures.

  • Liaise with vendors and stay up-to-date with current recruitment technologies and practices.

  • Collect and report candidate feedback as it relates to the recruitment experience and processes.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience recruiting in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Experience using Greenhouse ATS or a similar platform. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Experience recruiting for technology and software development teams. 

  • Strong research, networking and sourcing skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Strong active listening skills. 

  • A passion for building strong relationships with candidates and colleagues.

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. 

  • Knowledge of Employment law as it applies to recruiting.

 

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience in HR, Sales or Marketing.

  • Post-secondary education in HR or Business Management.

  • A strong social network across Canada.
