THE OPPORTUNITY

CONTEXT: 

This is an exciting Finance Manager opportunity for a talented and highly motivated individual to become an integral part of the Finance team, reporting to the VP of FP&A. 

ROLE: 

The candidate must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) to establish credibility and facilitate an effective working relationship with a wide range of Company representatives including non-finance team members. Other critical skills include sound business judgment, strong organization and prioritization/time management skills, attention to detail, strong finance and operational experience in SaaS Revenue and Gross Margin analysis, goal and team orientation, and the ability to develop relationships with a variety of people at different levels and functions throughout the Company.

WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US 

  • Maintain forecast for software revenue and professional services revenue using current pipeline and future bookings projections.
  • Provide support with month-end close by reviewing new bookings, upsell, churn, renewals, ARR and review software and professional services revenue actuals.
  • Work on software cost of revenue and professional services cost of revenue budget, forecast and actuals, provide variance analysis accompanied by KPI drivers.
  • Maintain, review and research key cost of revenue KPIs. Deliver impactful and actionable insights that drive decision-making.
  • Collaborate with finance and business partners on ad hoc projects and financial modeling.
  • Further develop the function by looking into the business metrics like billing rates, utilization, efficiencies, internal and external costs.
  • Responsible for month-end close deliverables and reporting.
  • Review monthly financial results and variance analysis to the business plan, create a concise summary and prepare a report for business partners and executives.
  • Become a Vena Solution power user and maintain all costs of revenue and org changes real-time.
  • This position may require minimal travel - around 15% - including a week-long onboarding for new hires, team-building events, and other occasional travel as necessary.

YOUR PROFILE

If you have the below experience and strengths this role could be for you:

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business (CPA  or MBA preferred)
  • At least 5+ years of experience (Minimum of 3 years in SaaS business)
  • Excellent excel skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with FP&A planning tool: Vena Solutions, Adaptive, etc..
  • Ability to meet deadlines and adjust quickly to changing priorities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to interact and build relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment

  • Team player
  • Ability to prioritize, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with others, orally and in writing
  • Detail-oriented and organized, able to pay attention to procedures and create proper documentation

The salary range for this position is based upon careful and continual market compensation research. In addition to location, salary may also vary based upon job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Title: Finance Manager

Base range minimum: $140,000.00

Base range maximum: $180,000.00

*Additional compensation / rewards: In addition to the base salary information above, Ivalua offers an uncapped commission plan as part of the competitive compensation package. Other compensation factors may also be considered. Ivalua also offers exceptional benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement (with company match), and much more.
