Who We Want

We are seeking an individual that will assist the accounting department in creating accurate and timely financial records for the company. The Senior Staff Accountant will assist with month-end closing processes, prepare tax returns and regulatory filings, and create audits and annual regulatory exams.

 

What We're Looking For

  • Perform the full cycle general ledger monthly close process to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies.
  • Responsible for the accounting and reconciliation of the balance sheet accounts and preparation of journal entries and schedules for capitalization and depreciation.
  • Assist and interface with internal and external audits
  • Calculate accruals and other accounting estimates
  • Compile month-end reporting packages, including income statement, balance sheet, and perform fluctuation analysis of assigned entities.
  • Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
  • Assist in forecasting and budgeting processes

 

What We Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field
  • 3 years of accounting or finance experience
  • Attention to detail and critical thinker with exceptional problem-solving skills
  • High standards for integrity, honesty, professionalism and work ethics
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
