Iterative Health is pioneering the use of artificial intelligence-based precision medicine in gastroenterology, with the aim of helping to optimize clinical trials investigating the treatment of IBD. We use advanced machine learning and computer vision to interpret endoscopic videos along with other types of data, helping clinicians better assess patients with potential GI problems. Ultimately, the company aims to establish more meaningful endpoints to serve as better predictors of both therapeutic response and disease outcomes.
As Marketing Director, you will lead a key commercial function within Iterative Health that partners with external stakeholders and internal commercial and technical teams to support our commercial and company goals. As a member of commercial management, you are a thought partner and leader who proactively identifies opportunities to drive awareness, education, and adoption of our technologies by all relevant customers and stakeholders.
The role is multifaceted and combines strategy development and decision making with day-to-day management and execution to drive high quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Marketing function responsible for both corporate and product marketing
- Provide direct reports with managerial support, feedback, coaching, and guidance to drive excellent team performance and individual professional development
- Own functional strategic planning and develop quarterly and annual marketing strategy, team objectives, and metrics in alignment with company strategy and values
- Set and execute to a quarterly and annual marketing team budget in collaboration with Finance
- Own cross-functional marketing initiatives spanning Sales, Customer Success, Scientific Strategy, Product, and leadership teams by gaining alignment and driving for results
- Accountable for the refinement of product marketing plans for all Iterative products, and subsequent execution of plan tactics to drive product awareness and adoption
- Jump in to support the Marketing team’s day-to-day work activities as needed, with the right prioritization so as not to lose sight of the big picture
- Drive key external relationships with agencies, vendors, business partners, and customers, creating alignment through relationship building and interpersonal influence
- Partner closely with commercial leadership to deliver commercial success, owning the marketing component of the commercial launch of new products
Required Skills
- You have proven experience in healthcare B2B marketing leadership roles, building and leading teams of at least 3 to deliver marketing results
- You are a trusted functional leader who has experience working in successful VC-backed startups or other fast growing companies
- You are an outstanding communicator and can build a sphere of influence at all levels
- You are agile when it comes to building relationships and influence without authority
- You dive head first into accepting diverse and challenging assignments with rigor, intellectual curiosity and tenacity, and you are hardworking, fearless, forward-thinking, credible, conscientious and creative
- You identify operational gaps, plug the holes, and just make things work, with an eye for how to improve processes for future efficiency
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in business or role-relevant disciplines
- Prior B2B strategic marketing experience building a brand and launching new AI/ML software or AI/ML as a medical device
- Strong knowledge of clinical research, clinical trials, and physician workflows
- Proven track record of creating demand and delivering marketing qualified leads from key decision makers in healthcare (AMCs, large group practices, and physician networks)
