Iterative Health is pioneering the use of artificial intelligence-based precision medicine in gastroenterology, with the aim of helping to optimize clinical trials investigating the treatment of IBD. We use advanced machine learning and computer vision to interpret endoscopic videos along with other types of data, helping clinicians better assess patients with potential GI problems. Ultimately, the company aims to establish more meaningful endpoints to serve as better predictors of both therapeutic response and disease outcomes.
What you'll be doing:
Own the technical direction and impact of their team
Collaborate with a cross functional team that include Product, Machine Learning, Clinical, and Regulatory affairs
Work with direct reports to understand their motivations and develop their career paths
Formulate an effective strategy for recruiting and retaining high performing and collaborative engineers
Required skills:
Graduate Degree in computer science or other quantitative fields, or Bachelor of Science with similar practical experience in an industrial or research setting.
6+ Years’ experience in software development
2+ Years experience in leading or managing engineering teams
1+ years experience in cloud computing systems with microservices or data pipelines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to describe complex technical concepts to colleagues with varying degrees of technical background
Preferred skills:
Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry
Knowledge of computer vision tasks including detection, segmentation, and classification
Experience working with more data types (e.g. EMR, genomics, biometrics, images)
Experience deploying machine learning models to production
Experience working in startup environments
