iRely is looking for a Business Analyst to join their Product Development Team to work on the Tank Management Module of their software product. This role is integral to the ongoing success and retention of our customers, as well as the competitiveness of our software products. The Business Analyst has the potential to grow into a full Product Manager.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Collaborate with business stakeholders / Customers to understand and document their requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of technical systems, software applications, and databases to identify integration opportunities and ensure compatibility with business requirements.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in technology, proactively identifying opportunities to leverage new tools and techniques for improved business processes, particularly for fuel and propane delivery.
- Facilitate communication between business and technical teams, ensuring effective collaboration and understanding of project goals and deliverables.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, use cases, and test plans.
- Analyze existing business processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions that align with business goals and objectives.
- Work closely with development teams to provide guidance and clarification on business requirements, ensuring that the delivered solutions meet the desired outcomes.
- Perform system testing, validate the functionality of developed solutions, and assist in user acceptance testing to ensure successful implementation and user satisfaction.
- Manage and optimize deliveries, inventory tracking, and forecasting, leveraging advanced tools and techniques to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery and successful project outcomes.
- Provide training for new members onboarding and when new features are delivered.
- Analyze root cause issues and implement corrective actions to reduce future problems.
Qualifications
- Strong Business Analysis Skills.
- Strong English – written and verbal
- SDLC knowledge is required.
- Experience with delivery and inventory management systems, including scheduling and tracking deliveries.
- Familiarity with MS SQL and Jira is preferred.
- Experience in Team and Product Management is a plus.
