Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic/end-to-end accounting functions including account reconciliation and preparation of supporting schedules.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in a timely manner.
  • Assists in preparation of monthly budget and facilitate efficient cash flow management.
  • Participate in annual budget planning and preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with local corporate and individual taxation requirements.
  • Assist in the filing of annual audited financials and stay on top of deadlines for statutory requirements with the BIR, SEC, DOLE, SSS, Philhealth, Pag-Ibig and other regulatory agencies.
  • Keep complete records and files of all transactions of the company.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits by organizing and providing requested documentation.
  • Prepare other special purpose reports for use in management’s decision making.
  • Contribute to building strong business relationships with colleagues, suppliers, banks and auditors.
  • Attending BIR for submissions whenever necessary.
  • Perform other necessary functions that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance/accountancy/banking.
  • 1-2+ years of hands-on experience in manual bookkeeping and accounting is required.
  • CPA license is a plus
  • Must have solid working knowledge of relevant technical standards.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications with advanced skills in MS Excel.
  • Can efficiently work independently and as part of a greater team.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work requirements and/or strict timetables established for the role.
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy.
  • With analytical skills to interpret and comprehend both financial and non-financial information.
  • Must have strong verbal/written communication skills and excellent comprehension skills in English.
  • Must be trustworthy and able to always maintain confidentiality.
  • Must have high sense of professionalism, responsibility, and accountability.
  • Must be willing to work extended hours, when necessary.
  • Applicant/s must be willing to work at least 4x a week onsite in Makati City.
