Product Manager - Metals
The Product Manager – Metals will report to Director of Products - CTRM.
Job Overview
Will be responsible for understanding the Metals market requirements, translate them into product functionalities by providing Metals market business processes expertise in collaboration with respective module Product Managers to deliver solutions to meet the customer and market requirements.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Engage with Sales and Pre-sales team in understanding Metals requirements.
· Will be responsible for delivering product solution to meet Metals market customers’ needs.
· Collaborate with Module Product Managers in designing and delivering product features for all types of Metals market needs.
· Research metals market for continuous product development to meet the market requirements.
Qualifications
· Overall experience should be around 7-10 Years
· Good understanding on Metals market like Base Metals, Precious Metals.
· Good understanding on Metals market like Base Metals, Precious Metals and Concentrates
· Experience in Business Analysis (Min 4 Years)
· Experience of working in diverse team setup
· Understanding of Agile and Software Development Methodologies
Experience:
· Knowledge in Commodity Trading with deep knowledge in Metals trading (Base Metals, Precious Metals, Concentrates)
· Knowledge in hedging and pricing of contracts (Metals)
· Knowledge in execution and workflow of commodity trading
· Knowledge in different geography business process for Metals trading
· Understanding of foreign currency and applying rates in contracts
· Understanding of quantity and price conversions
· General Understanding of Hedging and Risk Management Concepts
· General understanding of what a position is and how you create a position (long or short)
· Genuine interest is Agriculture, Petroleum, and other Ag products within the food/fuel supply chain.
· Understanding of Commodities value chain and different areas.
· General understanding of Business Analysis methodology
· Previous experience in managing software products.
· Previous experience in ERP software companies or commodity trading software companies.
