Our Client Foundation team builds the infrastructure that powers all of the frontend applications at InVision. As a Lead Software Engineer on the team, you will focus on leading initiatives and developing the frontend platform, including libraries and services, to help our teams at InVision increase engineering velocity in building reliable, performant, and consistent applications.

What you’ll do:

  • Write secure, maintainable code that powers the world’s leading visual collaboration platform
  • Define and develop a frontend microservice architecture that underlies all of the frontend applications at InVision
  • Technically mentor other developers, participate in code reviews and act as a point of contact for architecture and cross-team initiatives
  • Build frontend libraries that are shared across all other teams at InVision

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years of experience designing and building high volume, scalable SaaS applications from end-to-end. Strong proficiency in frontend development libraries like React.
  • Multiple years of experience debugging complex issues; you can debug a web application problem all the way from the browser, through the transport, to the application, servers, databases, and asynchronous queues. Logs and core dumps don’t frighten you
  • Use of continuous integration and delivery technologies at an expert level; you have the ability and interest to teach others best practices
  • Motivation to understand the business, our users, their requirements, and to deliver results
  • Passion for continued learning and a track record of picking up new technologies and skills as you ship awesome code
