About The Role
As a Lead Web & Marketing Graphic Designer at Invisible, you will take ownership of high-level design initiatives that define our brand's presence and drive customer engagement. You’ll lead the design strategy for marketing and communication efforts, creating compelling visuals for our digital platforms. Partnering closely with the VP of Brand & Communications and other key leaders, you will set design standards, coach junior team members, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Invisible’s brand.
What You’ll Do
- Solution Delivery
- Design Creation: Lead the development of high-quality design solutions for marketing materials, pitch decks, and web pages, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketers, content creators, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive and impactful design solutions.
- Project Management: Define project scope, set timelines, allocate resources, and oversee the execution of design projects to ensure timely and successful delivery.
- Design Standards: Make strategic design decisions regarding typography, color, and imagery, aligning with web design best practices to maintain a consistent brand look and feel.
- Client Engagement
- Primary Design Contact: Serve as the primary design liaison for clients, translating their marketing needs into innovative and effective design solutions.
- Workshops & Discovery: Conduct workshops and discovery sessions to gather detailed design requirements and provide expert guidance on user experience best practices.
- Pre-sales Support
- Sales Collaboration: Support the Sales and Customer Success teams by creating impactful presentations and proposals for potential clients and opportunities within existing accounts.
- Value Communication: Clearly articulate the value of design solutions and address technical queries during the sales process.
- Brand Stewardship
- Brand Identity Management: Uphold and evolve Invisible’s visual identity by managing brand documents and ensuring brand guideline adherence across all marketing and communication channels.
- Collaboration with Leadership: Work closely with the VP of Brand & Communications to enhance and expand brand guidelines.
- Team Collaboration and Mentorship
- Knowledge Sharing: Collaborate with wider marketing and technical teams, sharing best practices and design insights.
- Product Design Alignment: Coordinate with the product design team to align marketing/communications design with product design for consistency.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior designers, fostering their growth and development within the design discipline.
- Innovative Environment: Promote a collaborative and innovative team atmosphere, encouraging creative problem-solving and continuous learning.
What We Need
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years in graphic and UI/UX design, specifically within marketing and communications, with a focus on high-impact design projects that align with strategic business goals.
- Team lead/management experience
- Project Management:
- Demonstrated experience in defining project scope, setting timelines, managing resources, and ensuring on-time project delivery with attention to detail and quality.
- Technical Skills:
- Figma: Advanced proficiency.
- Webflow: Experience preferred.
- CSS & HTML: Strong knowledge to implement interactive web elements.
- Design Systems: Extensive experience creating and maintaining design systems to ensure visual consistency.
- Design Expertise:
- Proven ability in designing sophisticated collateral, pitch decks, and web pages, maintaining high standards of quality.
- Video Production: Experience is a plus.
- Tools & Systems:
- Proficiency with ticketing systems like Jira or ClickUp for managing design tasks and projects; familiarity with Asana, Trello, or similar project management tools.
- Soft Skills:
- Communication: Excellent communication skills for effectively articulating design concepts to stakeholders.
- Creativity & Innovation: A strong creative and analytical approach to design challenges with attention to detail.
- Leadership: Ability to lead as the primary design contact for clients, conduct discovery workshops, and mentor junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Compensation:
- Base: $145,000
- Base + Bonus Target: $205,000
- This role is eligible to participate in Invisible’s equity plan.
The amount listed above is the expected annual base salary for this role, subject to change.
Country Hiring Guidelines:
