Who we are looking for

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal to our growth and success, as you will be the go-to person for all things finance. You will be responsible for owning cash management and forecasting, and working closely with the executive team to make informed decisions and trade-offs around budgets. You will also produce critical reports on organizational and departmental performance for both management and the board.

As our Finance Manager, you will:

  • Take full ownership of cash management and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to drive better decision-making and budgeting strategies.
  • Manage SaaS and financial metrics, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports for the board and senior management.
  • Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Work independently and proactively as you report directly to the CEO.
  • Roll up your sleeves to support operational tasks as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the organization.

Requirements

You have:

  • Proven experience in financial control and forecasting.
  • A strong background in managing financial operations, ideally within a startup or scale-up environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and diligence.
  • The belief that good financial control should facilitate faster, not slower, operations.
  • The ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially when working with senior executives.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to solving problems and supporting the team.

The Journey

Within 3 months

  • Become familiar with our financial processes and systems.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of our business model and financial goals.
  • Start building relationships with key stakeholders and the executive team.

Within 6 months

  • Take ownership of the financial planning and analysis process.
  • Implement improvements in financial reporting and control systems.
  • Contribute to strategic decision-making and long-term financial planning.
