To advance space exploration, we work with space agencies and private companies and provide them bio-farming units to grow efficiently food for astronaut and/or conduct research on impact of microgravity on plant molecular composition.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer who will be responsible for the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design of our various digital assets. At Interstellar Lab, we build hardware products that are controlled by online software. You will ensure that the UI/UX allows an easy and secure use of our products while offering a wide range of functionalities with an exceptional visual design.The successful candidate will have the passion to deliverer adaptive and creative solutions to UI/UX design problems by staying up to date with best practices and emerging trends in user experience design and user interface technology. Experience in both Web and mobile applications is preferred.
RESPONSABILITIES
- Investigating user experience design requirements from various user profiles
- Developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the brand
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
- Build page navigation buttons and search fields
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how applications function and look like
- Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
PROFILE
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science or relevant fields
- 2 to 5 years of professional experiences
- Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
- Portfolio of design projects
- Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Figma, Sketch, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
