What is the role?

As a Warehouse Digital Associate at Intersection, you will assist the Bench Work department in the preparation of additional spare parts for use in the field. You also load and unload merchandise using warehouse lift equipment, Assemble and disassemble parts, organize and store merchandise, as well as keep all storage areas clean and tidy. You are highly motivated, reliable and dedicated, and able to work well in a team environment. You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and you must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record. You should be Comfortable working in the elements year-round. Knowledge of Manhattan and the surrounding boroughs is a plus.

This is a full-time position. The hours are 8:00pm -4:30am, Sunday Through Thursday.

What you will accomplish:

  • Assisting bench work staff in retrieving specified spare parts from storage units as per the direction of supervision.
  • Moving all outgoing merchandise to the delivery area.
  • Ensuring that all merchandise is properly secured in the delivery vehicles to prevent damage during transit.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all recovered spare stock.
  • Utilizing warehouse lift equipment to load and unload merchandise as well as move, lift, or stack merchandise as needed.
  • Process incoming crates to remove designated parts and accounting for all parts removed to facilitate their use as rotable spares
  • Palletize parts removed for use or storage
  • Replace kiosk in shipping crates for return to cold storage
  • Any Component Assemblies (ie Ad Display, Tablet, eBay, etc) deemed scrap to be disassembled with re-usable parts removed and remaining prepped for appropriate disposal
  • Assemble components for use in field repairs and bench upgrades (ie. SBC’s, Net Caps)
  • Prep and disassemble parts for refurbishment (ie. side panels, intake grills)
  • Reassemble refurbished parts for distribution for field activities
  • Run software programs to upgrade operating systems on components to streamline their use as spare/replacement parts

What we expect:

  • Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work alone or with minimal supervision
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, bend or crawl
  • Perform non-routine duties as assigned by a supervisor
  • Safely operation light to medium duty company trucks
  • Forklift Certified

Salary Range: $20.25 - $23.00
