What's the opportunity?
This position offers a candidate with the right experience set an opportunity to join an exciting and fast growing company that aims to fundamentally change the way that companies interact with their customers. In this role, you will report to the Director of Global Sales Operations and have an opportunity to directly influence the overall company trajectory, build and scale the sales operations arm of Intercom, interact with Intercom's senior leadership, all while creating an operationally excellent sales organization.
What will I be doing?
- Build and manage a team of Analysts
Drive annual capacity planning for the sales org; liaison with critical cross functional partners (e.g. Finance, Marketing, Product)
Partner closely with senior leadership to develop and manage actionable, measurable projects that accelerate sales growth and improve sales processes and operations on a global scale
Advise Sales Leadership on new business growth strategy, churn strategy, existing customer base expansion
Gather requirements and project manage changes to our sales technology that result in improvements in sales rep productivity
Support weekly and monthly reporting and forecasting for the sales organization, identifying significant changes and trends that will materially impact the company’s growth trajectory
Establish strong working relationships with various levels of sales leadership as well as key cross functional partners to ensure an aligned and effective overall GTM strategy
What skills do I need?
Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently; excellent communication skills and ability to speak to all levels of the organization from senior leaders to frontline reps
Enjoys the challenge of toggling between strategic thinking and rolling up your sleeves to ensure that we are executing against the right priorities
Passionate about working with people and data to optimize systems, processes and performance
4+ years experience in Sales Operations or Business Operations role, or similar strategy and operations role in go-to-market organizations
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel ; Experience with Salesforce.com and SQL is a strong plus
