Based in the heart of London, HYD (formerly Mobile5) was established in 2011 as the first “Mobile First” agency. Who are we looking for

We are looking for a pro-active, detail-oriented Senior Project Manager to join our Delivery team. Responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery process, the Senior Project manager will be in charge of steering and supporting teams of multidisciplinary professionals across consulting, research, design and development deliverables. Taking the role of key stakeholder within high-profile projects and co-responsible for steering all resources required for successful completion.

Your day

  • Putting your team to work, identifying the immediate tasks set out for the team and ensure they are being actioned.
  • Time management, continuously advising internal and external stakeholders about the delivery of the agreed scope using the available resources within the plan you have laid out at the outset of the project.
  • Reports, both in writing and meetings, you will report on the status of all deliverables and results in context of the success criteria defined by you and the team.
  • Tracking, ensuring the right amount of efficiency by keeping track of project burn completion and budget.

There really is no typical day as a Senior Project manager at HYD, your tasks and time can vary day on day depending on what our clients need.

Your responsibilities

  • Ensuring strong team
  • Ensuring Service Level Agreements are
  • Analysing project requirements and preparing budgets and
  • Reviewing project resources and providing an analysis on whether they meet the demands of the project.
  • Developing detailed plans, and monitoring progress as well as writing up
  • Liaising with relevant teams and directors for the duration of the
  • Conducting research on delivery trends and work to elevate the Project Management team’s overall quality.
  • Establishing good relationships with clients and other
  • Using content management systems (Wordpress, Contentful, Drupal 8 and more) as well as project management software (Jira).
  • Aligning HYD business strategies with the project management processes and
  • Keeping abreast of all development in flight for all your
  • Taking an active role in supporting the new business team to win new client

Your Skills

  • BSc in Computing, IT & Business or similar a strong
  • Project manager certification is a strong
  • Technical competence and understanding of the digital
  • Ability to manage multiple teams (squads), some of which including clients, working in separation towards the same project objectives.
  • Proven skills in programme management is a
  • Familiar with UX/UI, User Research & Conversion Rate Optimization
  • Understanding of web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Headless
  • Familiar working with the Google business suite as well as Microsoft
  • Evidence of working with Agile project management
  • Proven experience of managing large-scale projects throughout the entire
  • Stress resistant, proven capability of juggling multiple projects at
  • Agency experience with strong communication skills, both written and
  • Passion for anything tech and digital
  • Creative and, above all, proactive

Your Experience

We are looking for someone with proven experience working on large-scale projects, successfully. As Senior Project manager you will be working under pressure, being able to remain flexible and change direction when required is key. At HYD we focus on building partnerships so would be leaning on your experience to identify business opportunities and further build on client relationships.
