The Manager, Client Services will help orchestrate business development efforts including outbound activities, responses to inbound RFIs and RFPs, client pitch presentations, and seamless transition of new business to Interbrand client teams. 

This job requires a strategic thinker with persuasive presentation skills and overflowing enthusiasm. As Manager, Client Services, you must be a personable, strong conceptual thinker; have high energy, excellent writing, and communication and presentation skills. You will need to have a strong business sense, have endless curiosity for brand strategy and creativity, be highly detail-oriented and organized, thrive in a team environment and have the ability to work autonomously. Your day-to-day will include a variety of activities, including pulling backgrounder analysis of a brand and its competitors, getting an integrated team ready for an internal client brief interrogation session, leading introductory calls with prospects, crafting outlines for pitch decks, and working with legal and finance teams to navigate the contracting process. 

THE ROLE: 

  • Support the orchestration of pitch and proposal development from the initial engagement with a prospect through contract negotiations 
  • Prepare ‘backgrounder’ documents on specific brands and industries via desk research 
  • Contribute to planning and execution of primary research to inform pitches and proposals  
  • Track relevant industry news, i.e. M&A activity and executive changes as well as brands, services, and offerings launched by Interbrand competitors  
  • Develop strategic content to be incorporated into pitches and proposals  
  • Standardize and update case studies 
  • Take an active role in preparing for client sessions (Q&A’s, tissue sessions, presentations) 
  • Build client relationships outside immediate client contacts 
  • Support marketing team efforts in the pursuit of developing Interbrand’s brand 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE: 

  • 3+ years experience in a related role and space; we have a broad definition of "related," including any business development role in the branding or strategy space or adjacent industry; a project/account management role or strategist role in the branding or strategy space 
  • Strong strategic, visual, verbal, organizational, and time management skills
  • Familiarity with brand strategy, brand architecture, brand experience, and brand identity design
  • An enthusiastic and infectious work ethic and the ability to collaborate, uncover insights, and develop client-ready outputs   
  • Conceptual thinking, especially the ability to critique and discuss your work as well as the work of others
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint 

Compensation

  • Base salary range of $70k to $85k
  • This range represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of Interbrand in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience; training; associated responsibilities; other business and organizational needs; and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
