Location: This position is fully remote in the USA and Canada.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Director Global Services, ESG is a critical role for the continued development of Intelex. The role is a strategic role to expedite the growth of our class-leading environmental compliance and ESG delivery Services practice. The role is global in nature with teams in the US and UK. Delivery on target and managing a team of managers to that target are key competencies for the successful applicant.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES
Project Pre-Sales Responsibilities
- Conduct careful and timely reviews of all services estimates with the goal to review overall
accuracy and reduce non-billable service time.
- Provided guidance on the translation of client requirements and services estimates into a
statement of work (SOW) or services proposal that will meet client’s overall business
objectives/solution requirements/cost & timeline objectives and minimize risk to Intelex.
- As appropriate, participates in onsite or remote pre-sales presentations with members of the
Acquisition or Customer Success team.
Project Implementation Delivery Responsibilities.
- Provides strategic leadership on system implementations (full project lifecycle).
- Facilitates project hand-off/client hand-off meetings between Acquisition/Customer Success,
Solution Management and Customer Engagement for customer implementations.
- Align project requirements to resource competencies and establish the appropriate Intelex
Project Team.
- Supports Managers (Sr.) Project Managers, (Sr.) Solution Architects and (Sr.) Consultants to develop and execute on project plans that align to the requirements and effort of client solutions.
- Ensures GS implementation methodology is followed and enforces project standards.
- Ensures that projects are delivered within the triple constraint parameters.
- Minimizes project exposure and risk by instituting proactive Risk Management strategies.
- Responsible for communicating project progress through regular Executive Steering Committee
meetings where appropriate.
- Acts as the primary Intelex Escalation point for ESG practice. Collaborate with other Intelex
departments in the resolution of client issues/escalations.
- Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
- Effectively close out projects with an objective of securing positive client testimonials and
conducting formal lessons learned activities with an objective of improving our implementation
methodology and skills in other implementation resources.
- Continually seek opportunities to increase client satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
- Responsible for people management activities including recruitment, onboarding, setting
expectations, performance management, coaching and mentoring for managers.
- Responsible for the development of front line managers and their competency to lead teams
ESG Practice Operational Leadership
- Responsible for project revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization.
- Responsible for services revenue forecasting and resource forecasting.
- Responsible for internal vs external service delivery model decisions and margin maintenance
- Manage capacity planning for the team in order to identify additional headcount requirements
and proactively support Managers on project resourcing.
- Identifies business development and "add-on" software sales opportunities.
- Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion. Effectively utilizes each team member to
his/her fullest potential.
- Contributes towards the continual improvement of our service delivery models (Identifies and
seeks to improve best practice implementation strategies).
Team/People Management
- Responsible for forecasting required resources required to meet project demand and practice
revenue targets.
- Responsible for recruitment, interviewing and candidate selection process.
- Assists in the training and development of Growth Delivery Managers and Consultants.
- Conducts quarterly and annual performance appraisals with direct reports.
We may need to make responsible changes to these duties as necessary, to achieve our organizational
objectives.

Technical Competencies
- Deep knowledge of global service delivery marketplace

- Superior analytical skills using data to make fact-based decisions. Statistical experience an asset.
Experience
- At least 10 years of experience in progressively responsible Leadership roles within the software technologies industry.
- Experience in Environmental Compliance, Carbon Accounting and Energy Management considered an asset
- Prior experience working in an entrepreneurial environment, where your judgement and strategic thinking were key to success
- Experience with development and implementation of product, marketing and sales strategy
- Experience working with a software product or SaaS organization preferred
- Experience working within an Agile development environment preferred
- Track record of delivering highly scaled products and teams
- Interest in Technology industry or industry experience in high tech an asset
EDUCATION
Completed post-secondary education in Sciences or Engineering or equivalent experience
