Position overview

Technical Consultants at Intelex help small and large organizations drive positive change by implementing changes to their Intelex software that better helps them to achieve Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) goals. Our Global Services team is a dynamic group of experts who take pride in helping our clients get the most out of Intelex products by implementing solutions that meet their unique needs. Joining the Rapid Deployment team means becoming part of a team that celebrates each other's successes, is passionate about helping clients and helping each other.

Responsibilities and deliverables

Technical Consultants are primarily responsible for successful delivery of our On Demand services and technical projects.

Implementation Activities

  • Maintain, support, and configure the Intelex software
  • Work and coordinate with various groups to provide solution delivery
  • Interface/Integration design and support (SSO, API)
  • Train clients on technical aspects of the software solution and associated environment
  • Support client testing
  • Understand product release and patch process, planning potential client impact accordingly
  • Lead Transition, Migration and Consulting on Demand engagements
  • Document best practices and standard operating procedures for technical aspects of a software deployment
  • Assist in the development of new project scopes and estimates
  • Other duties as assigned by the Department Manager

Within 1 month, you will:

  • Participate in Corporate onboarding - Learn about Intelex, our parent companies, our history, and our values
  • Participate in Departmental onboarding - Learn our software, our methodology and how you fit into the organization.
  • Work with a peer Buddy - Gain mentorship through your onboarding programs and beyond. Learn the ins and outs from someone who does your job
  • 1:1s - Meet the team, leadership, and people in supporting teams. Make friends and gain rapport and connections.

Within 2 months, you will:

  • Achieve key Departmental onboarding achievements effectively - Learn our key modules and get ready to be client-facing
  • Start a project with the support of your Buddy, Manager, and the entire team
  • Take on other ad-hoc client facing or behind the scenes client work.

Within 4 months, you will:

  • Be on your way to being fully ramped and role-specific critical metrics and targets
  • Grow your knowledge - Learn more Intelex modules and features.

Within 1 year, you will:

  • Lead a full roster of projects through entire project life cycle
  • Guide customers towards standard methodologies
  • Become a Buddy and pay it forward - help the next generation learn and grow in the role.
  • Achieve positive customer feedback

Required

  • Demonstrable experience in a client-facing, software support or implementation role.
  • Ability to work independently with minor oversight.

Preferred

  • Project Management Courses or relevant experience
  • Software Coding Courses, Bootcamps or relevant experience

Education

  • Completed post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
