Position Overview

With a strong continuous improvement mindset you are responsible for leading, coaching and mentoring a team of 5-8 Account Executives. This role has the overall responsibility to build and manage a team with a focus on maximizing revenue, achieving established KPI’s, and guiding/coaching the team towards continuous improvement. Successful candidates will require excellent communication skills and inspire a team of individuals to make Intelex the market leader in the EHS space.

Responsibilities and Deliverables

  • Build and lead a team of 5-8 Account Executives
  • Drive urgency across team with focus on achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
  • Ensure high participation rates across team with each team member contributing on a consistent and monthly basis
  • Ensure sellers activities are resulting in high engagement with prospective customers and/or existing customers resulting in increased pipeline generation, conversion to win, and growth
  • Be highly disciplined in value selling methodologies and use our tools and processes to facilitate your team’s success
  • Be proficient at selling Intelex software+services and managing all stages of the sales cycle
  • Demonstrate operational rigor and strategic focus
  • Demonstrate excellence in sales forecasting and opportunity management
  • Travel to locations within Canada, the U.S and occasional international travel required. Expected travel – 40%.

Organizational Alignment

  • Reports directly to the Senior Vice President, Sales Americas
  • Enlists support of executive management, sales management, sales specialists, professional services implementation resources and support resources as required

  • You have the ability to work and influence effectively across organizations both internally and externally
  • You have experience attracting new sales talent, interviewing, hiring, and building teams
  • You are a proven leader, who can roll up your sleeves and lead from the front
  • You are experienced in driving change management resulting high engagement and positive outcomes

Technical Competencies

  • In-depth knowledge of SaaS business model and Software Sales Cycle 
  • Strong understanding of software, support, and services contracts and agreements
  • Prior experience working with CRM software and forecasting tools, Salesforce experience preferred
  • Comprehensive grasp of enterprise application requirements / architecture
  • Understanding of the Environmental, Health & Safety, or Quality industry and ESG (considered an asset)
  • Understanding of ISO Quality, Environmental, Safety and Business Performance Management, TS16949, AS9100 is a strong asset.

Experience

  • 7+ years selling complex enterprise software and services
  • And, 3+ years experience leading a direct sales team of account executives of all experience levels

Education

Completion of Post-Secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience
